Well another week has gone by. Not much exciting going on except that our principal (Ed Neufeld) at Westgate resigned and they hired a new one already (Bob Hummelt is coming back).

Rudy had a baseball game on Tuesday, but it was sooo cold out that I stayed home!

On Friday, Oma, Tante Karen & I (Tante Elsie had to work) did a run at some greenhouses. These pictures are from the Fort Garry Nursery out on North Main. They also have a Cafe, but we weren't sure if they were open, so we had lunch at the Eye Opener out in West St. Paul. we also went to the Salad Bowl out on Rebeck Road. (Lawrence (used to work at Wardrop with Dad)and his wife Irma run this operation on their yard.) Had lots of fun!

Dad and I went out on Saturday to Canadian Tire and Rona and bought a new BBQ. It's sitting in a box in the garage and now needs to be put together. That could take a while to happen. We wanted to work in the backyard but it didn't happen.

On Sunday we went to Church (all the cottagers were missing!) and we went out for lunch with Onkel John & Tante Karen to the Olive Garden.

Today is Monday (Victoria Day holiday) and it's been raining since yesterday afternoon. The prediction is for rain until next Thursday. So much working in the back yard! So after making Dad a nice breakfast (waffles),

I am working on the computer. I'm transferring taped TV shows to discs for you guys so I can clear up some memory. Oh, we also bought 2 new Digital cable boxes for receiving digital channels from Shaw. Both boxes are now with PVR capabilities. That means we can tape programs directly onto the hard drive of the Digital box and watch them later (60 hours of memory). Similiar set up as on my computer. Can't get left behind with new technology!!

That's it for now!
